Default Different muffler on catback

I bought my car with a Hooker aerochamber catback. It sounds great at WOT...really screams, but its sooooo quiet below 2k rpm. Is it possible to buy a muffler, say a GMMG and put it in place of the aerochamber? Would it require lots of modification to the hooker catback? Less hassle just to buy a whole new system? Or would those lower rpms be much louder when I install LT's and an ORY? I'm lookin to get that deep rumble of the old muscle car times, without a true duals setup. There are no shops around here that can do that kind of job correctly. Any tips?

I'm sure it's possable, but I'd wait, like you said, until after LT's and ORY. That will change your cars sound a lot.

i would keep your hooker catback and put in a Y after the over-axle part and make your own gmmg catback by putting a sweet thunder in place of the hooker and running it out to your existing dual outlet
