Default Hooker with dumps

Anyone ever put dump/turndowns on there hooker catback instead of the tailpipes. I have a borla y-pipe and the hooker catback but want it alittle louder and was thinking just dumping it might do it. I may also gut my cats but im not sure about that. Anyone ever do this, will it sound good?

Thanks
Jon

hooker mufflers arnt the loudest in the market, if you want loud i would dump a flowmaster or dynamax bullet

If you want it louder, then just go with a cutout.

I ran a cutout on my stock exhaust it was loud but really did't sound all the great IMO. I also don't like the sound of flowmaster on our cars. I just want alittle meaner sound, I love how quiet the hooker is for long highway trips but most my driving is short around town trips. I think im gonna give it a shot and see how it sounds if i don't like it i can just put the tailpipes back on.
