Some people say it is for looks, others say it works very little and every little helps. I have the slp smooth bellow and really couldn't tell a difference by the seat of the pants feel.

FWIW: Buddy of mine (and fellow board member) has the SLP bellows on his car (bought it used) and it does look and fit exceptionally well.
