Default how to unstick a stuck O2 sensor?????

I have TTS coated headers. The front 02 is stuck
I used PB Blaster and a the 02 socket, then a 7/8 wrench, then vice grips, now I just have a siezed 02 with a stripped head.

And yes Anti-sieze was used when installed

You may have to really crank down on the body and perhaps sacrifice that sensor....

you could try heating it up w/ a torch as well, but that would probably kill it - but help get it out too

My trick, if car is on jackstands. Use a small jack (I use my old/cheap 2.5 ton) to lift up on the handle of ratchet.

You say you stripped it?

I just stripped the outside of the sensor.

I don't care about trashing it. I am replacing it because it throws a code for faulty heater.

since it is stripped, you may want to see if you can get an easy-out that will fit.

you can get them @ sears. they are similar to a socket but are 'rifled' so that they bite in to the bolt head deeper the hard you have to turn.
