Default Help!Ram Air question

I Recently bought a 98 T/A for my daily driver.I picked up a OEM WS6 hood for it.Now I want to add the air box.Do I have to buy the factory setup?I did a search and found a lot on lids but not the RamAir complete set up.Im looking for the factory type setup not the one that goes under the front bumper.Thanks.

The lid portion of the airbox is the same for WS6 and regular LS1 powered f-bodies. So just get an aftermarket one. It should work with either lower airbox/radiator support.

The WS6 airbox/radiator support has an opening that is twice as large as a standard one. It's not required to be use with your WS6 hood, but it does make a nice addition.

So just the bottom that mounts to the radiator support is different. So I guess I would have to get that from GM?...

Yup, or you could try salvage or the parts section here.

You can pick one up new from GM for ~$70
