FTRA and the SLP CAI are basically the same thing. I would get the SSRA over those two though, seems to be the most popular choice. It is worth doing in my opinion, when you reach speeds over 60 mph or so you will gain about 15 hp.

The SLP kit is NOT the same as the FTRA. The SLP kit is really just a cold air kit as there is no direct routing of the air into the air box. The FTRA routes air right off of the lower chin spoiler into a sealed air box. The result is more power, better throttle response AND improved fuel economy over the SLP kit.
We actually sell an upgrade kit for the SLP kit to make it a true ram air kit. It's popular for those people that already purchase the SLP kit and don't want to just throw it away.
The FTRA kit is made of T304 stainless steel. It will last the life of your vehicle and will never rust through or be damaged by curbs etc. The SSRA kit is basically a copy of the upper portion of the FTRA kit but with a scoop on the bottom instead of the ram air plate that we use on the FTRA. The SSRA is made of plastic so it can break if it hits a parking curb etc. It is also very visible from the front of the vehicle while the FTRA is stealthy. The FTRA also includes a block off plate to disable the kit. I do not believe the SSRA kit includes this. The FTRA is also less expensive
Mention this post when you order an FTRA and we will give you 10.00 off the price
We have been sponsoring this board for years and answering technical questions and providing support... the makers of SSRA don't sponsor any boards as far as I know.
