My hooker headers are about 4 years old. They are rusting and peeling pretty badly, mainly by the collectors. They are even showing signs of rust near the flanges. Time for a good set of stainless.

Yeah the coating sucks.. I've had my coated hookers for about 3 months and already have surface rust all over the bottom side of them.. That **** pisses me off..
Anyone know what happened to that guy that did all the header coatings a few years back.. His name was Paul Barry. Not sure if he is still doing coating work, but his stuff lasted forever.. I had a set of Macs on my LT1 that he did and they still looked good after like 3 years..

Same thing is happening to my jet hot headers. We have all the worst kinds of weather for mild steel headers here on the island. I plan on using some of the high temp aluminum paint from por-15. The stuff is supposed to bite into the rust and stop it from spreading while protecting the rest from the elements. The heat of the headers cures the stuff into a hard coating. Atleast it should keep the rust from rusting entirely through in the spots its already flaked off.
