question about mti lid..

question about mti lid.. this is my question...on the stock airbox of my 02 trans am there is a hole that a hose goes over and hooks into the airbox...i bought the extra k@n breather that plugs into the end of it...my question is what secures it...the hose and the filter are just dangling...am i missin sumin? thanks! btw the lid went on easy and looks wonderful!
