SLP Longtubes & Eibach Pro-Kit. Good idea?
I've had the SLP longtubes on my car for about 3 years now, but have never thought about lowering my car because I know how much the passenger side header hangs down. It already has a few scrapes on it even at the stock ride height. I've come across a good deal on some Eibach Pro-Kit springs and would really like to lower my car a little bit, but wanted to see if any of you have or have tried this combination and see how it worked out for you in every day driving conditions. Thanks.

It'll be tight as hell...literally. ProKits aren't the most extreme in terms of drop, but those SLP's hang LOW. If you already have a few scrapes, with the ProKits you may end up denting, banging, or otherwise screwing up your headers.

I'm not sure how the SLP/Eibachs included in the Bilstein Susp. Package compare to ProKits, but I had SLP LTs and they scraped all over the place...speed bumps, my driveway, etc...It actually took the fun out of driving the car because I was always worrying about what I would drag over next...my advice would be to get the springs and swap the headers for something that tucks up and in (Kooks, QTP, etc.)...

that would be a big fat NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the slp'z hit on stock height, imaging lowered....
you can do better with other headers and still lower your ride.
I would, however, reconsider the eibachs. I have them and well, it all depends on your driving style.....i would get the ground control, f/r height adjustable. (500/150 spring rates..)
good luck!!
