Default Cooling Fan on 100% of the time?

Well today I was driving and noticed that the fan was on. The car wasn't even warmed up at all and the fan was running. It wouldnt turn off. There is no SES light, car runs like normal. If it makes any difference, it was raining today and I haven't driven it in the rain for months. Any have this happen to them before? Thanks.

A/C, or defrost, will run the fan independent of ECT.

Well A/C and defrost are off and its still going. I unplugged it this morning because I didnt want the fan to burn out or drain the battery. Then the SES light turned on when it was time for the fan to come on, which was expected.

I figured if any water got into the connections that it would dry overnight, well no such luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

If your temp sensor is unplugged? Or damaged...

Facing motor its on the right above the 1st exhaust port on the head

do you have a scan tool?

Well the fan is on only when the car is on. But its on when the car is cold, warm, all the time, etc...

Anyways, I pulled the fan relay today and started the car and of course the fan was off. So I plugged it back on and the fan didnt turn on. Maybe driving it today dried it out, or the relay was stuck open or something. I havent driven it around yet to see if it does it again. But its fixed from what I can tell.
