Default Volant w/SS hood question

I had a question I just purchased the Volant cold air kit for my 98 z28 and I have the ss hood.Well the Volant seals up so tight to the hhod the all the air goes strait in to my filter but my concern was when it rains is water going to be problem by water going in my intake.I also wanted to know where does the small breather filter go connected to, I dont happen to see any vacccum hose.Thank You

I think the filter you are talking about is for the A.I.R. hose that was connected to your stock lid.

i was also considering this set up, how well does it seal up? also does it work with an 85 mm MAF? and finally, could you use the cold air intake from underneath the box also?

thanks

If you mean the Free Ram Air Mod/Fast toys, no, it will not work. The Volant comletely covers the bottom, at least on a T/A anyway.
