P0430 Code and Cats
I threw a P0430 Code which is Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold on the passenger side. I have Jet Hot LTs with a Jet Hot Catted Y Pipe. I assume this is coming from the rear O2 sensors since it's past the cats. I had all the rear O2 codes deleted on a previous trip to the tuners even though I have
cats and have the rear O2s plugged in. My question is this:
Can I simply unplug the rear O2s and plug the hole in the Y Pipe? I don't think I need O2 sims since the codes have been deleted already. What do I do with the rear O2s and wires? Should I leave the cats in or go through the agony of pulling that Ypipe and removing them?
Thanks
Bryan

If the tuner "reset" the codes or "deleted" the occurrence of the code, you'll still set the same code off after a driving cycle or two. Like 2xLS1 said, your tuner needs to actually turn the codes "off" for it not to return.
