Speed Inc TD's thats for sure. It's a 2002 so it has the Vortech Truck Cam and the LS6 intake. To me from hearing a 2000 LS1 w/ LT's and GMMG to hearing my 02 LS1 w/ LT's and GMMG the sound is distinctly different, much more crisp and has more muscel car note to it- has very small lope to it.

That doesnt seem to have any distinction of a cam or anything so I'm sure its probably a full bolt-on SS. Your car should sound the same w/ that setup since you have an 01. Good luck

If I remember correctly I believe the system was $1,995 but am not 100% sure. I do know however it was over the $1,200 mark.

You couldnt find the SLP CME tips on www.SLPonline.com ?
I could have sworn i seen them there before. LS1speed.com no longer has the TD's on there site but I'm sure if you goive them a call and/or Contact Larry Mike or Tom they can get you some info fast.

You haveta look under the 1998-2002 SLP CAMARO SS section for those particular tips. SLP Has Quad tips as well. Just gotta search around

Sooo, your saying your car sounds better then any other year?
Idont understand what you are saying. The only way my car will have more of a muscle car note note to it, is if i add add a cam. remember your 02 cam is smaller then the 00'. I think this is an unfar statement. Im not saying either sounds better, im just saying, how can you say something like that? i dont think this is a fair staement

I'm not saying that I feel it sounds better then any other car. The smaller cam changes the exhaust tone more than I had thought vs. my buddies. It sounds like there is a different cam in there then stock. Yeah I know it isn't alot but you can hear it vs. my buddies. Also when I rev mine mine had more of a roar (so he says) while his had more of a scream and up top in the RPM's his supposedly has slightly more raspy sound come out of it. This is what I mean, from comparison he and some friends of ours have said that mine sounds slightly better because it is a little deeper and does not rasp AT ALL anywhere in the RPM range, where as his had some from 5600-^. I'm going by opinion yes but hearing HIS opinion made me come to that conclusion. I personally have never stood behind my car and had somebody rev it up for me. So I'm not hear trying to start a war or what not but the cam does change the note and from my understanding its "better" its a little quieter but not by much. If i can I will see if i can get the video from a buddy of that was with us so i can compare them. Hopefully he knows where he has it lol

98-00
Duration@.050 198.86 intake 209.25 exhaust
Lift .498 intake .497 exhausts
LSA 119.45

-35.1° Valve Overlap

01-02
Duration@.050 196.37 intake 208.72 exhaust
Lift .464 intake .479 exhausts
LSA 115.92

-30° Valve Overlap

From my understanding Valve overlap can help determine cam lope and from hearing severa different cammed cars, 5° is a noticeable difference. For instance one could compare the MTI Stealth series cams (220/220 .581/.581 115LSA or 224/220 .581/.581 116LSA) @ -10° overlap and the TR-224 on a 114LSA (224/224 .563/.563 114LSA) @ -4° overlap. There is no way you can say that these 2 cams do not sound different at all levels by any means AT ALL. These cams are also remotely similar size. (this is the best way i felt I could compare) I hope this makes sense.

We sell the Dual tips, just see the post below yours (Thanks jrp!), but we also have one set of the Dual tips with a small blemish on them that we will sell with a good discount.

PM or Email me if you are interested in the blemished tip.

DWillTA-
Nice looking custom setup. Where did you get the hanger for the driver's side of the x-pipe? It looks like banging is impossible with that hanger welded on the bottom of that pipe...I need some info so I can do the same thing.
