True Duals
I wanted to get true duals and I was wondering if I should get a X-pipe or H-pipe. What sounds better and with what muffler??? Sweet Thunder? Where in the bay area California does true duals?? Thanks!

We dyno'd our cars (on different days) and had similar gains.

Thats what i think im going to do. I want an H pipe done by Lanes, since hes only about 5 miles away. RGS, did you have it dumped out the axle or taken out the back? If its dumped, is the interior rattle the same as the X pipe's? This is the only thing holding me bck from gettting that exhaust setup is the interior noise.

You can control the interior noise with proper muffler selection. In short dynomax bullets and the like are cheap, flow extremely well and sound good...but they are loud and drone a little on the interstate. Someday I will probably switch from the dynomax bullets to sweet thunders, flows, bora XR1's, etc to see how it sounds.

lanes does good work. i was very impressed with it. i went with the x and the flo-pro twisters, per his personal recomendation at the time. i initially got it dumped, for price reasons. but when inspection time came, went on ahead and got it all the way out back. X's are supposed to provide slightly more power then the H, but obviously results vary. if you're concerned about drone i would recomend neither system. there will be a good amount, out the back was only slightly better imo.
whatever you decide though, remember this.. its gonna sound mean as f**k afterwords. -g
