Louder? Magnapack. Deeper? Twister. The twisters and the Moroso Spiralflows are very similar and both have a deep, rumbly, very muscular sound, where as the magnapack isn't quite as defined, louder, and just nastier. In my opinion it sounds a little more midrangey and not as refined.

Funny you ask because I have a Moroso Spiralflow running straight off my off-road y-pipe and the sound is....well.... . It sounds DEEP as hell, very rumbly and powerful and idle, and when you go WOT, it sounds very defined, not muddy at all, with VERY little to no rasp, even without cats.

Not yet, but I might soon. Magnaflow flows a little more. I wouldn't call them power robbers. While they aren't as straight through as bullets, they still flow VERY well, it's not like a Flowmasrer 80-series on anything near that bad.

Sweet Thunders probably have the least flow of the three, but still aren't bad at all. In terms of sound, it is louder and clearer than the Spiralflow. It roars...not quite as deep as the Spiralflows, but a little bit more aggressive and 'mean' sounding. Haven't compared it to Magnapacks, but I'd imagine the Sweet Thunders would be better sounding, more defined, and not as raspy.

yeah...how practical would it be to get one sweet thunder muffler, or one 'magnapack' bullet styled muffler installed after the y pipe merges and then getting custom piping fabbed up to go out the back? As in...how difficult would it be, which of the two would be louder/deeper?

Yeah, loud, that's about it. IMO, 'normal' Magnaflows sound better.

As far as the muffler after the y-pipe, not a bad idea, basically what I did, except I dumped mine, but for that much money with all the custom fabbing, I'd rather buy a nice catback (GMMG, Corsa). Probably wouldn't be to difficult, but any time mandrel bending is involved, it's $$$. The two mufflers would be about the same in terms of volume, but the Sweet thunder would sound much deeper, much more defined, and not nearly as harsh.

They will flow well, maybe a LITTLE bit less than the Spiralflow. Most rasp and drone goes to Magnapacks...I am not a fan.

Virtually identical. Just that Morosos are easier to find.

My friend runs one on his Latemodel stock car, his is 4" sounds good, doesn't muffle much, very deep, less harsh than bullet style mufflers. I would go for it.
