They actually sound pretty good if you keep the cats, but dont remove the muffler, get a $35 cut out and pay someone about 15 to install it and call it a day

just in time I have a 3" cutout and qtp elecric open and closer w/ wires and switch for $150 shipped.

Cutout- brand new

qtp- used for 15,000 miles and used 15-20 times, works like new.

I'm going dual exhaust soon so I need to sell.

One of the guys on the site SOM98TA is running an open Ypipe. A muffler shop cut the Y and removed the muffler for 12 bucks a couple days ago and it sounds damn good for 12 dollars, not too loud either for an open exhuast.

When I had stock manifolds, ORY, and a Magnaflow I took the entire muffler off for a night at the track to see how it would sound...was pretty damn loud, little raspy, but overall sounded pretty good to me...everyone else liked it.
