Default TSP TDs, Which Torque Arm?

I know it's probably been asked before, but I searched for true dual info and couldn't find what I was looking for. Also should be in suspension tech, but the guys with TSP TDs will be in here, so I figured this is the best place to ask.

I've got TSP TDs and am looking at getting an aftermarket torque arm. My stock torque arm clears (finally after MUCH adjusting on the TDs, 1/2" clearance at the tightest spot with the rear suspension fully unloaded). I'd like to get a new one for added traction and pinion angle adjustment, but I dont know what clears. If you've got TSP TDs and an aftermarket torque arm what kind are you using and did you have any clearance problems? Thanks in advance.

I have a BMR adjustable, non-track pak. It clears w/ room to spare. Now if I could just find a DS loop to fit...

The Jeg's looks like it should clear since the mounting point is behind the X-pipe. I'm going to give it a shot with my duals. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...07&prmenbr=361 . Plus it get's the mount off the tranny.

Pics? I have an older style 2 piece BMR that wouldn't fit, and I tried a Lakewood that didn't work either. I would like to see where it mounts and the clearance you have. I'm about ready to fabricate something, I already started working on some cardboard patterns.

the spohn loop i have is actually the lakewood loop, spohn just powdercoats it. it has adjustment where it bolts in place of the factory brace.

That one looks different from the one I tried, I may need to try one of those next. Thanks for the heads up.

Also, you can buy that loop from zinc plated from Lakewood for $45. I think Spohn charges $100 for it powdercoated. I use the Lakewood with my duals, you might have to move your x-pipe down alittle if that's possible.

use search...there was a thread not too long ago where someone had tsp tds and lakewood loop with pics.

Any tq arm that mounts to the tailshaft will work without fabrication, except the bmr trak-pak. I wouldnt buy one that mounts to the tailshaft but whatever you want. There is a tq arm that mounts to the transmission crossbrace, might want to check that out.

Which tq arm would that be, that mounts to the trans crossbrace, and will it clear duals for sure? A tunnel mount one isn't going to work with the true duals. Thinking a BMR tranny mount at the moment. Would it provide any significant improvement over the stock piece?

The BMR will do the job. Down the road I may buy their transmission crossmember that takes it off of the bellhousing. Not too worried about it with the power level I'm at right now.
