i did a search but could not find what i was looking for. i want a lid for my 99 ws6 i know a lid is a lid but is the blackwing lid from slp any good and will it fit to a 99?

Yes, it's constructed like the OEM lid as a single piece, instead of 2 pieces glued together like the average lid. I had another lid (can't remember which make), the Blackwing is far nicer as far as fit and construction go. I doubt it makes more hp than any other lid tho Also, you don't need to buy the complete overpriced Blackwing package from SLP, you just need the actual lid + the rubber boot + the oval clamp for the boot. (You could get the pieces separately as of about a year ago.)
