Default SES light...DTC P1416 Secondary Air Injection (AIR) System Bank 2

The light just came on when i was driving at about 50 mph. How big of a deal is this??? Can i still drive it like this safely?? Any help is appreciated.

Typically it is a dirty check valve. You can try and clean it or just replace it. It is around $20 from a dealer.

You can also take it as a sign and rip out the air system. You will need access to a programmer to delete the code though.
