I would suggest doin all the free mods.(EX.. remove hood baffles, TB coolant by-pass, & EGR(if u got one, which u might not in a 00')) After that i would tackle the exhaust like u say u want to. Since ur a automatic, i would get a stall & tranny cooler also. Get u some new gears & better tires, u should be good for a while.

You might want to look into suspension stuff also, like sub-frame connectors, Strut tower brace, and lower control arms. just make sure you do some research before you send. I know I've wasted thousands because I was to quick to pull the trigger on a purchase.

Nitrous is still the best gain for the money. I went 11.993 on stock motor and cat back on m6 car on 150 shot. it is great stuff.

do all the bolt-on's first. headers, stall, and intake. prob the most important would be the stall on an auto.

I agree you would want to get a stallfirst and cooler, shift kit. Get some good tire's and 3.73 gears and you will be pretty happy. Then do your LTS,PORTED TB,BETTER EXHAUST,LS6 INTAKE. Get rid of the shitmaster it doesn't help with power.
