smooth bellow sucks
i bought a smooth bellow from a non sponsor recently. it was about 1/4 of the price of the SLP bellow and had a hump in the middle unlike home depot hose. after trimming it a lil bit, i went to put it on. the hose was stiff, after i finally got the lid to sit right, it seemed everything was tense and under pressure. i didnt like it one bit. i think this bellow is way too thick. its 1/4" thick. it just doesnt flex well. does anyone sell a bellow thats thin like the stocker? i just dont like the idea of the motor flexing and cracking the lid.

Like was said its an appearance mod. Since it was an appearance mod I choose to get a used SLP bellow. It just looks better than the rest. Anyway it was a pain in the *** to get it on. It would not fit so I had to trim it like 3 times until it finally went on right. But it looks good though, so I think that its worth it.

I bought my SLP bellow used $20 and it works. Can't say I can feel any difference. More of an appereance mod in my mind.
I had a problem with it popping one the the clips off my SLP lid, it wasn't sitting right. But after a few times of messing with it, it works now.

I've got the SLP, and I like it alot. It helps clean up the look of the engine and looks like a stock part, though performance is negligible. Going with a used one (or the one you're likely buying) is worth it, though I wouldn't pay $50 for it. For that matter, I wouldn't pay ~$8 for the Fernco.

Hi Folks
First, I looked at both bellows and they are same - SLP did the notching on the bellow and charges more for the unit for the work. I am not hammering them just making a statement. They are both about 1/4" thick and not very flexible - just my two cents.

I got mine of Ebay the lil F-er. I did a head, intake, LS6 PCV conv. 5.0, and TB install and that gave me the most problems. I finally said **** it and put back the stock one and flew the ebayer across the yard.
