LS1sounds is your best bet. Too many exhaust combinations to list. Go give it a listen. U will probably change your mind a couple of times before u listen to every one of them.

I had this same set up on my ss and it is so freakin loud. I loved it though cuz the sound would put ricers in there place .

it drones pretty bad at certain rpm's and speeds. I wouldnt recommend it unless you want it that loud. its pretty raspy also.

i have a cutout right now with a dynomax bullet muffler so maybe i could run it through the muffler to get rid of the raspiness. Or would i be better off goign with the catted y-pipe instead?

I can hear the rasp just thinking about it. If you want full blown loud, it wouldn't be a bad setup.

Also, like someone else said, just check out LS1sounds.com and see what you like.

I had the same set up except I had kooks headers. With the loudmouth and ORY it was the loudest car on the street period. It just did not sound right. So what I did was weld in a BORLA XR-1 Sportsman muffler. Quieted down some with 90% of the rasp gone. Now I love the sound of my car.

I know this is proably a really stupid question but how do you pass emmissions with the ory? Do you need to get a catted on also? Because i want to get headers for my TA and i didnt know what you guys do for emmissions/inspection when you need to have visible cats

That setup sounds like **** in my opinion, LT's - no cats - no muffler will be extremely raspy and have an annoying drone.

They either a) don't have emissions, b) have it but don't pass it, or c) they get a catted y-pipe.

so i should get a catted ypipe so it sounds better, will this reduce the power any? I have a cutout so ill be able to keep that on and run this through a muffler so should i get the ORY?

That setup is the raspiest setup you can possibly get. Find something with a muffler if you want less rasp. Or just get a catted Y.

As I told you at Pittspeed I never put 5000 mile on a year. You will need 02 sims to pass the ODB scan part and I know a mechanic who is catblind(if you know what I mean)

no rasp. I think the stall puts me in the RPMs where I dont get alot. I think the GMMG is a much better sounding catback than the LM anyway. There is a forum thread going on about that right now.
