Question New Plugs...Still alittle misfire....

I jus switched out my old plugs in my 2000 z28, after 4 bottles of 150 shot, and put new ngk tr55 gaped at about .068...after a quick testdrive, there is a slight mis fire at about 4500 rpm, 1st gear and second...is this normal due to the condition of my old plugs, was told my comp needs to "readjust" to a good plug, if so, how many miles does this take, if not, where do i start????thanks.............

I run my TR55's at 0.055 - I think you should be running TR6's though. ???

The Tr6 is a heat range colder plug than the Tr55, it is reccomended that you run a colder plug with nitrous.

Stock gap should be .060. I run the TR55's at .055. If you are running n20, you should be running the TR6's.

not running nitrous anymore, thats why i went with tr55s. im starting to think it mite be gapped wrong. if a stock gap should be no more then .055, then, .066 would be enough to make it run like that..?

stock gap is .060. Try gapping them to .055. Mine are gapped to .055 and they work great.
