Anyone ever heard of these. Saw them on e-bay carb# and everything. $285.

Increase your horsepower and performance with these BRAND NEW mid-tube headers in factory packing. Manufactured in the USA by PaceSetter, part #70-1348. Fits 1998-1998 Camaro/Firebird with 5.7L LS1 engine with A.I.R. (Air Injection) and EGR. The down-pipe is mandrel-bent 2-1/2" tubing and sized to fit the stock converter inlet. 3/8" thick CNC-machined, matched-port flanges for better fit and greater durability. i can't ever recall seeing anyone post about these - according to pacesetter's website, they are 50 states legal

i'll personally stick with my longtubes and keep them at least coated

Good find...they look like the edelbrock shorties. It's funny how they call them "mid-tubes" hoping we'll associate them with "mid-length" headers.......I did. In reality they're shorties, with a replacement pipe to the cat on one side.

Small primaries...... dont like the look (transition) of the collector. Get what you pay for.

yes, they were posted months back. im not away of anybody who owns them though. they advertise them as mids but they are shorties.

i dont like them for the same reason as lasershop.

That was my 1st thought. It looks like they dump into a short, turbulent collector. When I think of a good collector, I think of a design like the flowmaster merge. I know you are limited as far as collector length is concerned with a shorty, but the pacesetter still looks pretty bad.
