I still think it's easier to drive on Rhino ramps and get #8 from the bottom. Takes about 3-4 minutes IF you can get by the temp shields OK (I don't have huge arms, LOL). That's the only way I even try to change mine.

Actually he's putting the plug wire on.
I did the plugs.6'3" 195,just cause everyone is throwing that out there. I stand in front of the car and just reach back there.I've never done it from the bottom, but I cant see it being easier than from the top.Once you pull off the coil pack and air tube it takes less than 10 min. versus jacking up the car and climbing underneith. The hardest part of the coil packs is the last bolt, but once its out I throw it away making it way easier to take off and put on.
I use a spark plug socket with a 3/4 socket and have never had a problem.I use a deep 3/4 on 2 & 4 then a shallow 3/4 on 6 & 8.
Anyway,I figured some people do the climb inside thing but I had never seen it before.I found it rather amusing to walk out into the garage and see him up under there.

climbing on the front support dont help me one bit, though im 6'2" 260lbs and can reach back there fairly easily.
the easiest i have found to remove the #8 plug is to use a 1/2" socket wrench, with a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter and a 3/8" spark plug socket, fits perfect and lines up right in between the header and wall to turn the wrench easily.

I'm another "underneath" guy. Get the first 3 from the top, without taking the coild packs or anything else off. Then, raise the car on a jack, and #8 is the easiest to get to!
Of course, a 3/8" air ratchet certainly helps! Just stick the socket on the plug and press the trigger.
