Default Mac mids

i need quick help! i just bought a set of mac mids and ory off the classifieds. it was off a 98 ls1 i believe. the guy said it would work with my 02. is this right? or is he mistaken? thanks in advance.

it will work you just need to block off the egr, if i remember correctly

You should not set codes since your 02 did't come with the AIR tubes.Check Ebay saw a whole set of block off plates and gaskets for about $10.

yes they will work, however as stated you'll need an egr block off plate for the egr provision and either get block off plates for the AIR system or purchase 98-99 air tubes.

What, MAC mids? They are not a bad header at all. I run them on mine and have had no problems, and the clearance is real nice

there not bad as stated, but LT's make a litle more torque. I still use MACS mids for the ground clearance on a lowered car. There is one trick that alot of MAC users do. Have the the ball collector cut off the headers and go with a 3" collector and have a 3" y-pipe fabricated.

thanks for the tip! i might go ahead and do that. any idea where i can get the above stated parts?

also if i can get them fabricated at a place with a dyno, i will get before and after runs for you guys. thanks a bunch

Find a good exhaust shop in your area, make sure they have a mandrel bender.

i know a couple good shops. i have kooks within a hours drive but i dont know if i should bring a set of macs over there, its kind of a
