Default 99+ Valve Covers

What do the two partions on the passenger's side valve cover do? Would it be OK to remove them out of the valve cover?

I assume they can be removed since the driver's side does not have them??!?!!

What exactly are you referring to? Are you talking about the inside of the valve cover?

Yes, the inside part of the valve cover. It looks like they are part of the PCV system, I guess.

if its the same piece im thinking of,,,, i know somebody that had to cut them off because his rockers where hitting it, so he cut them off
