If you still have the AIR(or smog pipes) on your exhaust, you may be hearing the check valves fluttering. This is because the smog pipe openings on the new headers are larger than the stock one. Some people put a washer ontop of the opening on the smog pipe on the header side, then bolt the rest up. The washer can help keep the check valve from fluttering. My 2cents.

Ok.. I posted the same Question on CZ28 after I installed my LT's 90% of the PPL there agreed that it was a normal LT sound. And they reasured me that if you have a leaking header or gasket You'll know!!
Leaking header would cause it also to run like crap. It sends air downstream and the O2 sensor will notice it and richen the mixture up more..
Other tips WHEN you have a leak are.... If it's constant, it's down stream. Near the collector... If it's a pulsed sound it's upstream, more twords the heads. Possibly a gasket leak, cracked primary weld.....etc....
You're fine dood... I was the same way.... How long have you had them on? If it's less than a month, you'll get used to it.... I doesnt' do it when you juice it from under the hood, right? That's what threw me off!

Ticking!?! Did you have it tuned after the headr install?? My parts/Tech guy tells me that I need to have it tuned to lean it out a little..
How do ya like the Borla-mouth Exh?? I'm thinking about putting a resonator in the 'I' pipe... Different tone?? How long does it take?? Did you try the Borla plates first??

i love the sound of the borlamouth exhaust w/ the Pacesetters. i had the dynomouth before the headers install and when i got the pacesetters put on the dynomouth was a tad tooo raspy for my liking. got the Borla XR1 put in place of dynomax bullet.... just how i like it. the exhaust shop i took it to only charged my 20 bucks to take out the the bullet and put in the XR1 so i bet it didnt take them 30 min. to do it.
