Default Would I have to re-tune?

If I did an !EGR would I have to re-tune my motor? If so what do you prefer? Would this affect my motor as far as better performance. The reason being is that I stripped the threads on my d/s manifold from the EGR tube and well I wanna eventually get headers anyway. So I was curious. And even if I do !EGR will the cause a major problem trying to pass my emissions? Not that I REALLY HAVE TA worry bout emissions anyway if I dont wanna. Thanks any suggestions or info would help. By the way I live in the south suburbia area 15min from Orland Park,IL so any places where I could get a re-tune around there?

Don't think so, but don't hold me to it. You will have to have the EGR deleted from the computer to keep the SES light off... should be no problem seeing how '01-'02 don't even have EGR.
