Default porting stock ls1 intake

what kind of gains can be seen by porting the stock ls1 intake? is it worth simply replacing it with an ls6? anyone ported their stock ls1 intake and have dyno numbers or any other real results?

not that much if any I am guessing. It is most definitely worth getting an ls6 intake over an ls1. The bottom of the ls6 is flat and the ls1 is not, so theres not much porting can do for you there. So just get the ls6 intake, I am really happy with mine.

you cant really port much of anything on the ls1 and ls6 intakes since they are thin and plastic
