Default !EGR & !AIR While Smog Legal?

So I know there's a lot of threads going on right now about these items. I live in the wonderfual state of CA and I know I won't pass smog if I delete these two....or maybe it's just one or the other (I Dunno). Anyways is there anyways I can remove these and still stay smog legal....or is getting a tune my only option? Curious because I plan on getting the LS6 intake in a few weeks and don't really want to be getting one that needs the EGR. Thanks!!!

You might pass with EGR removed, but maybe not.
The later years pass without it but have a slightly
different cam profile. You would need the EGR
diagnostics cleaned up and probably zero the
EGR spark table and other stuff like that.

AIR lights off the cats quicker. If it's not a
sniffer test then again, need the diagnostics to
cough up the proper ready indication and no
faults, is all.

You're in for tuning, for sure. I think it would
be good to get with someone who's familiar with
what does and doesn't slide by the smog inspection,
how to get all of the readiness checks to say
"yeah, boy!" permanently if they're pertaining to
disabled functions etc. Some of that stuff, is a
bit obscure (killing codes is easy, covering your
tracks maybe wants a little more finesse).
