Default p1404 EGR valve-pintle stuck open
Can the EGR valve be repaired (unstuck) or do I have to replace the whole thing?

I would but here in BC we have Air Care that we have to pass before we can get insurance. So I might as well fix it as best I can now.

You could try cleaning it with a brush and some B12 Chemtool or something similar.
