Default FLP Long Tubes

Are these being sold or have they been discontinued?

I have had mine for 3 years. The special finish is almost completly gone. The tubes are very rusted. The steel is very soft and I expect them to totally rust out soon...

Consequently, I would never buy another set of headers. If you made me do it, however, I would only consider a set of stainless steel headers....

They have been discontinued. Dynatech makes them now and they only come in stainless steel. Guess they're learning from their mistakes. Sorry for your bad experience.

Is DynaTech a LS1Tech sponsor ---------------------->

? I don't see their button.

Not a sponsor, but lots of LS1 Tech dealers carry DynaTech. Thunder Racing is one of them. They carry replacement parts if you need any.

I found the Dyntech web page. Their F-body headers are shaped different than my FLPs. In addition, they have a 3-bolt collector flange. Mine have a V-clamp arrangement before and after the cats.

They cost $1,400... the material I saw did not say they were stainless construction.

Oh well, I'll keep mine until they rust away.....

Dynatech made the headers for FLP to FLP specs. Dynatech makes what is a functionally equavalent header...but the Dynatech branded headers are stainless steel and come uncoated. They also use a different flange arrangement, instead of the V-Band clamps that the FLP's used, they use a donut type gasket. Both systems work, IMHO it is just another way to accomplish the same thing. The pipe diameters and lengths for the Dynatech and FLP headers are the same including the y-pipe.

BTW, if desired, we can supply the Dynatech headers coated.

I hope this explains the difference between the headers.
