Default ? about Hedmans

They have 1 5/8" primaries stepped up to 1 3/4". What I wonder about them is whether the exhaust gases' increased velocity thru the smaller part of pipe would have enough momentum to actually suck more exhaust out the combustion chamber.

Sorry if that sounded too deep... I envision a venturi effect with any stepped header, and just wondered if the Hedmans would at least fare the same as a 1 3/4" header. Anyone know from experience???

He's talking about hedman tork-step longtubes. 1 5/8 primaries stepped to 1 3/4 about 6 inches off the engine. I've been curious about these lately as well.
