Default O2 sims or not?

OK so I buy this Y pipe and what are supposed to be O2 sims without ever seeing the sims. They come and the Y pipe as rear O2 fittings and 1 rear looking O2 screwed in and another rear looking O2 taped to the other side pipe. My question is has anybody ever seen a sim that looks exactly like an rear O2 sensor and threads in(like whats the point)? I know I sure as hel never have. Anyway I post this for the sellor so he will believe me and refund the $60 before I dispute it.

Thread I bought from:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/364076-o2-sims-ory-98-manifolds.html

Pic of Y pipe with supposed O2 sim installed in it still:

Can you take some better pics of it and post them?

From the pics you did post, it looks like an 02 sensor to me.

o2 simms don't screw in at all, they plug in at the connection the rear o2 used to and then you tie them out of the way. they're just two little black plastic boxes with wires going out to a plug.

I should have said maybe instead of probably. I just thought since there was only one that it was a wideband.

I guess I should make it clear that their are 4 bungs in the Y pipe but the front O2's were gone and one of the rear O2's was still installed and the other taped to the pipe. I wish it had been two widebands to add to the collections but not the case. The pic is worth 1000 words.

AC delco AFS97 on the side.

This is what got me(and I will be refunding the dude his $60 because it was my ignorance on the subject). I've never seen an o2 SIM, but the pipe was on my car for 8 months with that exact setup and never once threw a code...ever. The car was NEVER tuned before, not even with a handheld. How did it not throw a code with no cats and regular rear o2s?

if the sensor itself was lazy or dead, it will read the same as a good one with a properly working cat

If the sensor is dead, wouldn't it throw a code for a dead sensor?
