question about O2 simms

question about 02 simms i know this is prob a dumb question, but i was told the check engine light was on due to not having cats...and that if i installed 02 simms this would solve the problem. now ive recently been hearing about 02 sensors, and wanted to know what the difference is. also i need to know how many 02 simms will i need to get the light off. thanks in advance

O2 sims trick the computer into thinking the car has cats on it. You just need 2 O2 sims for the rear O2 sensors. Unplug the rear sensor and plug in the sims leave the front O2's hooked up like normal.
