Default Running Open Shorties???

Just wondering if it's alright to run some open shorties for a weekend or two. Since the exhaust outlet is so high up near the wheel well compared to some LT's where it's next to the tranny. Curious if the heat exiting would cause some problems or not or if its bad for my engine to be running with open headers like that. Thanks yall!!!

I believe he means a valve in the cylinder head.

Yes I was talkingabout burning an exhaust valve. It may not be very likely but entirely possible especially on shorties. You will probably get alot of outside air sucked back up into the exhast valves. Just run a stock open y pipe or something.
