Default Installed SLP Flow Pac and WHOA!!

So I installed the SLP flow pac intake setup on my Z last night (Also my SS hood) It wasent so hard just some cutting and what not but after I was finished I started up and the car and it ran at like 400 RPM and would stall but after I had it running for a while it went back to normal. I guess the cpu had to adjust to the new intake? But anyways I took it for a ride on the parkway and wow it pulls alot harder!! I started at a 10 MPH roll and nailed the gas and I can finally spin the 295s out back no problem. I banged it into second and the car hoped like crazy, more then usual I thought I was gona blow my rear, but before I know it i was already going 130 like it was nothing. The exhaust is much louder you can really hear the engine roar now. The kit fits very well does not scrap anywhere under my hood both clips push down tight fit. I am very happy with this setup.

They may not be monumental gains, but if the mod satisfied your "butt-o-meter," then it was money well spent...enjoy!

Ya there is definitly gains to be had from the kit but you can usually just get the lid and make almost the same power for less. But as said before, if you like it then it was worth it.

I personally like making the guy feel inferior in every way...should we make fun of the size of his manhood too?

Yeah...and while you're at it, take a 1/4" drill bit and drill holes in each sidewall of your tires. It reduces the rotating mass of your wheels since you aren't hauling around that heavy *** air anymore. You'd think the tire would go flat, and it does sitting still, but the centrifugal forces balloon it right back up when you're moving. And traction...whoa boy. You'll be breakin axles in no time!

Oh hell...I still get razed on a nearly daily basis, but I just keep spending my money on bling rather than zing . I'm just glad the dude is happy with the mods, regardless of what people tell him.

that mean the hood is funcitonal? i got a ws.6 and am getting a lid, but from what i can see the aftermarket ram-air is functionless with my ram air lower air box. should i just try to seal the box to the hood with insulation and take out the bellows?

Do you want your hood to be functional? Then you need to look into the BGRA kit...

I did my throttle body bypass for like 3 bucks with random off the shelf parts from OReily's. It's an easy cheap mod
