Default PCV Valve Question

I just replaced my pcv valve today.

The hose on the large end fit VERY loose, to the point that I would be surprised if it didn't leak.

I put a small hose clamp around the hose on the large end of the pcv.

Anyone else notice the same thing? Is it normal?

I always add hose clamps to PCV systems on my cars. Seems that GM never does this, and most of them seem loose at one connection or another.
