Default Underdrive Pulley Question - 99 Z28

I just bought a set of March underdrive pulleys for my 99 Z28 M6. I've installed these on other cars/trucks before with good results.

The instructions (i can learn !!) say that I need to "ensure sure that the crank doesn't rotate" during installation. This has never been a problem on other cars ...... anything special on the LS1 that I need to know ????

FWIW I had to have my March pulley machines a tad to fit on my 99', even though they are supposed to fit as bought.
