Aluminized will hold up just fine. I have painted aluminized steel on my car, and it holds up fine under my daily driving conditions. It has even taken a trip up north since that exhaust was put on, and it made it through the snow/salt just fine.
Here's a pic...I've had to touch it up twice with a few quick sprays here and there...
