GM charges around $17 for each gasket. I got fel-pro ones from a place called Speed Unlimited by me and it only cost $25 for the set.
The paper pacesetter ones actually do work for some people from what i've heard. But for the most part people say dont use them. The way i see it, the worst thing that could happen is a leak and then you have to replace the gaskets anyway. So really you might just want to keep them on until something happens, no sense in changing them right away if they have a "chance" of working, but still buy the other gaskets just in case.

I also installed the paper ones. When I just replaced the engine mounts I replaced the paper ones with the GM metal ones. The drivers side one was in very good condition and very much stuck to the head (had to scrape it off). The passenger side one was very close to leaking already. I used those grade 8 locking bolts also so it isn't like they backed out.
I had them on there for a couple months, worse they can do is start leaking and if you don't have cats it doesn't really matter if they leak a bit.
