Need Help with cutouts

Need Help with cutouts I have just recently bought a 2001 firebird formula and I love it. I am about ready to start doing mods to it. I am thinking about a lid, and electronic cut out to start with. My question is what size should I get for my stock exhaust? 3 inch? What would be a good brand DHM or QTP. Also would placing it right above the axle be a good spot for it.

yeah go with the 3 inch cutout i just got mine on and couldnt be happier with it, just cant wait to hear it after i get headers and a offroad Y. i went with flowtech and its awsome.
