I got a 98LS1 and want to delete the EGR entirely
whats the best way to go about doing this? what did other use to clog the hole in intake and did u remove it from the stock exhaust manifolds?
and while were doing this how did u remove the air pump ?

from your sig it seems as if you don't have headers...when I got my long tube headers I got the "race" headers (non-emission style) I simply removed all of the EGR stuff and didn't need to plug any holes in my headers. However, since my car is a 2000 and it has the LS1 intake I had to get a freeze plug from AutoZone to plug up my intake.
As far as removing the AIR system there is a write up somewhere online that shows you how to remove it
