Default Quick question???

Last August (2004), the motor in my '00 FRC was replaced under warranty due to a rod bearing failure. The part # for the engine that was used is 88893286. Due to being bit by the mod bug, I've put together a nice heads & cam package that I'm about to install. My question is, does my new motor have the LS6 intake that all '01 & newer vettes have? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Can't tell by running the number on http://www.not-a-sponsor.com

I'd say post a picture, but that wouldn't help, either.

Have you called the dealership that installed it?

I am pretty sure that the part number is on the side of the manifold...I think. TTT for you.

The part number is stamped on the intake. After you get the part number then, it can be referenced as a LS1 or LS6 intake.

I remember a thread a while back where someone was saying you can tell from looking at the inside of it after pulling the TB off. I'm not sure how, sorry. TTT again for you!

Thanks guys, I'll check for a # on the intake & go from there.

More than likely they reused your stock intake.

Damn, I didn't even think of that. That's probably the case.

Thanks
