Default How can you tell if your getting false knock?

Just want to make sure I'm not getting any false knock because of my exhaust banging a little. Does it set off the ses light or anything. I just want to make sure its running good before I go to the track. It dynoed 399rwhp with a good curve so I think its alright but the exhaust does bang a little. I don't know if it would show on the dyno or not. Thanks for any help.

First you have to use a scan tool, like Autotap or HPtuner or anything else to make sure you are getting knock. If that shows that you are getting knock, then you can try to see if its false knock that is caused by banging. One method that I heard to see if its false knock or not is to put race gas in it, and see if the knock goes away. But you need a scan tool to check for that.
