Default LS1 SLP radiator = LT1 radiator??

I was talkin to a bud about changin my radiator in my LS1 as the radiator has developed a leak, with the help of the turbo knockin into it. So when i mentioned to him that i was prolyl jsut gonna get teh SLP radiator for my car e said taht the LT1 radiator is teh same and that I can prolyl find it cheaper then SLP prices. Hope someone can clarify if they are the same or if they are even compatable with the LS1 setup and if they have any benifit over the LS1 radiator. I have read that the LT1 rad is a better piece. Thanks

John
