Default O2 sims LED light blinking, what does this mean

Hi

I have never noticed this but my sims LED lights are blinking, should they? Have they always and I just never noticed? This is on a 2002 Z06 with LG headers in case it makes a difference.

Thanks
Bud

It blinks to let you know the battery inside the sim is still good. When it's not blinking, the battery is dead and thus the O2 sim won't work.

I just noticed one is blinking and the other stays on solid. Is this something I should worry about?

Thanks
Bud

It's just what I've assumed, I could be wrong. If you know what exactly it is, post it up instead of posting nonsense.

if im correct, the simd dont run off of a battery. power comes in one wire from the harness and it has a ground wire. and it has 2 more wires for + and - waves (fake) that the o2's should be sending out to tell the computer it is all good. my sims dont have any type of light, but i bet it means evorything is ok, as im guessing your not setting any codes.
