Default Pacesetters Installed Today

My roommate and I started to install a set of Pacesetter headers in our dorm lot today around 1pm. It was slow taking everything off the car, esp the stupid EGR. Took us a few hours to get everything off with hand tools and a floor jack/stands. We took a nice long lunch break and then went at putting everything in. Both headers slide right in with minimal struggle. This part was much easier than I expected. The only thing we removed was the passenger side coils which made it alot easier to get to the header bolts. We also put in new spark plugs and used the Jet hot catted y-pipe, which fit up pretty damn good.

It sounds awesome. Nice and tame when I need it but it wakes right up when I need it to. I was able to feel the power gain which was a first for the mods I have done.

Overall much easier to install the headers but a bitch to take the old stuff out.

Tisk tisk, you hooked up the Y-pipe to the headers? Tis a shame you didn't hold on to that open engine for a little longer Don't worry, i had to do it too after 2 weeks of the thunder . I'll have cutouts soon so i'll get that sound right back.
