Default Can you recharge a dynabatt (or other dry cell)?

So my car sat for about 4 days, went to take it out this morning and its dead. My dumbass left the radar detector plugged in. So now I figured first I'd try to jump it with my regular battery thats sitting in the garage, but since its completely dead, that probably won't work. Can I use something like a sears battery charger on it and let it trickle charge for awhile? I thought I remembered reading something in the papers that came with the battery that you can't let the voltage drop under 10-11V.

Of course it figures I have a track rental in 2 days. I need everything I can to maybe crack my first 11, so to have to put 30lbs back on the nose just irks me at my own stupidity even more!

Yes, you can charge a dry cell, but it must be a low amp trickle. I usually have the charger set at 2 amps for dry cells.

Thanks felton. I have a sears charger with a 2 amp trickel setting. About how long does it take to bring it back up to full charge? Around 24 hours?

Do you have a Dynacell brand? If so, they have a 5 year replacment warranty. You might want to just go grab a new one.
